About the event
High Society Swingers has been described as a "Grab bag across the decades", and "a potted-history of modern music in cabaret style".
Just like the Bebop Cats of the 40's, the swing guys, and popular ensemble players, these players take showtunes and make it their own.
The Swingers repertoire is a mixture of jazz, blues, soul and pop from the 1920's through to now.
